Jane McCloskey 

Jane is an internationally accredited coach, crisis advisor, risk culture specialist, leader and change maker of 30 years experience. She is a sought-after facilitator and motivational speaker. Her business has been built entirely through recommendation and referral. 

Now 60, Jane was ITV's youngest drama scriptwriter at 17 and the youngest ITV Director of Programmes at 29, also the first boss to oversee multiple ITV stations simultaneously. As the BBC's Director of Organisational Change she led an ambitious cultural change and cost-cutting initiative across the corporation, dubbed by the UK press as the BBC's 'Enforcer'. As the BBC's Controller, Strategic Partnerships she co-created the BBC/Arts Council digital channel The Space with the late Alan Yentob. Suffice to say, Jane's leadership experience runs deep and wide.

She has spent much of her career at the sharp end of both the commercial and public sectors, often under intense pressure and public scrutiny. She survived a burnout in her early thirties which taught her a lot about personal resilience and she has since delivered large scale and invariably challenging business change initiatives in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Throughout her career she has developed an excellent nose for talent, trouble and opportunity with an innate intuition and a wealth of life experience which she now uses to great effect when supporting her clients.... 

Jane's consulting and coaching clients span FTSE 100 companies, academia, big Pharma, tech and telecommunications, family and personal injury law, UK National and local government, security sectors and the public, private, not-for-profit and SME sectors. She counts the UK's major broadcasters amongst her core clients alongside the world's leading auction house where she coaches elite auctioneers worldwide. Jane also has an eclectic and growing private client list including celebrities, lawyers, politicians, artists, entrepreneurs and all kinds of people facing all kinds of challenge. ​

Her client work embraces talent coaching, executive coaching, performer/presenter mentoring and coaching individuals through major life and career change as well as for 'big' life moments such as presentations and interviews. ​ In the last few years she has become a renowned crisis coach with many high profile clients who seek her compassionate and strategic support to navigate challenging and often highly public crisis situations where reputations are at stake. ​She supports people through the traumas of public 'cancellation', job loss, divorce, reputational attacks, burnout and rejection. Jane also helps clients to rediscover and reinvent themselves, find personal resilience and renaissance, learn from the tough times, weather the storm and unlock brilliant new opportunities when the sun comes out.

Supporting her risk and ESG advisory work, Jane has served on fourteen Boards as a non-executive director, trustee and independent Chair. Jane Chaired The National Dance Company for five years including during the pandemic and was credited by the Arts Council with creating an exemplar of Board composition and culture. She was the first Independent Trustee at IOSH (the global Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) and has served on multiple Audit and Risk Committees. She has deep experience of governance, corporate purpose, social action, audit and risk and advises global corporations on risk intelligent culture and risk management.

No stranger to creativity and content creation, Jane is an RTS award winning Executive Producer and has been a Professor of Broadcast Media. At writer at heart, she is currently writing a self-help book on surviving all kinds of 21st Century life crises and is completing the second draft of her foodie rom-com novel "Unfinished Business", a title which her literary agent says is somewhat apt... A passionate cook with a side-hustle making high quality olive oil, Jane has her own invaluable daily mindfulness practise which gives her a different kind of nourishment along with yoga and dog walking.
